A downloadable game for Windows

Find your Balance

Attention! The game is designed for a Tobii eyetracker! But if you don't have an eyetracker, you can also play the game with the mouse.

Use the power of your eyes to levitate stones and stack them as high as you can!

In this relaxing concentration game, you can use the unique power of telekinesis to overcome all challenges.

But be careful! Don't let your gaze wander uncontrollably.

This game was developed by a team of 5 students of the HTW Berlin in 13 days.

How to play

Game objective is to build a stable tower with the stones into the target areas.

Once the bricks are stable in the target areas, you've made it!

To move a brick, focus on it with your gaze until it begins to levitate.

Now it will follow your gaze as long as it has energy.

To set a stone down, place it carefully on a surface and look down (push the stone down with your gaze).

Alternatively you can wait until it has lost its energy completely and it falls down by itself.

Features

-  You can play this game with your eyes alone.

- Telekinesis mechanics based on eye tracking

- Menu can be operated completely with your eyes

Known bugs

In rare cases the stones can't be lifted with your eyes - To solve this just use the reset button in the menu.

Hey! I played Stonesight a few times now, and while it is definitely a bit short on content the feeling of lifting the stones by looking at them was really awesome. I also like how minimalistic you guys designed the interface, it's nice to have almost no barrier between opening and playing the game. Especially since the concept "Look at things -> levitate them" is easily understood and happens almost on accident the first few times.

What I would really appreciate though is an incentive to blink sometimes, and maybe relax the neck and head. I noticed unintentionally making really sure not to move my head so as to not lose the focus on a stone. One time I believe that contributed to a migraine I was developing.

I would also really like to see some more content, puzzles with three or more such goals, maybe having to build specific or certain paths or something like that. I'm sure you can think of something!

All in all I really found the game intriguing and definitely would like to play again. My experience was very similar to when I first tried VR.

Thank you so much, that's amazing to hear! I'm glad you enjoyed the game and the feeling of the telekinesis in particular. An incentive to blink is a good idea, giving people migraine is not what we wanted to achieve :D Your ideas for the content expansion are also great, it's somewhat similar to what we had im mind. Since game was developed during a 12 Day Jam, we focused on the simple main mechanic, but if we pick it up again, we'll definitely expand on it a bit. Thank you for giving us feedback, I hope you continue to have fun with the game!
